Description
Scholarship for Hospitality Professionals working at an American Hotel & Lodging Foundation (AH&LA;) member property a minimum of 35 hours per week who qualify for the certification program. Scholarship covers the cost of the certification for the following professional designations: Certified Hotel Administrator, Certified Engineering Operations Executive, Certified Lodging Manager, and Certified Hospitality Housekeeping Executive. Award is based on industry-related work experience, professional, community, and extracurricular activities, personal attributes including career goals, and the responses to the required essay questions. Application for certification must be attached to the scholarship application. Due dates are the first of January, April, July, or October depending upon the quarter in which the courses are attended. Number of awards may vary.
